Technologie „Scott Luna 15/16“

Dual Radius

Traditional skis have a fixed radius that determines the length of every turn. SCOTT skis combine two radii (dual radius) to create the sidecut or "shape" of the ski. By incorporating the Dual Radius concept, the ski can turn when you want it to turn, resulting in a more versatile ski which is not confined to one type of skiing or terrain.

Factory Finish

SCOTT skis come directly from the factory "ready to ski" with SCOTT factory finish. Factory Finish offers an effective edge angle of 88°, resulting from a 3° side and 1° base angle for an exceptional performance. The base is finished with a micro structured CNC stone grind so you can mount your skis and hit the hill, no tuning required.

Pre-Track

When developing Pre-Track, SCOTT designed skis with wide tips and/or slightly turned up tails. With Pre-Track, SCOTT skis employ a smaller effective edge for short radius turns on groomed slopes and a longer effective edge when making bigger turns or skiing off-piste. The result is a more precise, stable, reliable and versatile ski.

SSCL - Sandwich Sidewall Construction Laminate

FORGIVENESS and VERSATILITY - SSCL combines a laminate top and bottom sheet with a traditional sandwich sidewall construction. SCOTT optimized material usage to provide a construction that drastically reduces the weight of the ski. Specific braiding and different combinations of laminates guarantee the best possible construction for their intended use.

Venturi Tip and Tail

The Venturi Tip and Tail concept is found exclusively on SCOTT skis. The Venturi geometry decreases the running surface pressure, allowing the ski to track better with less effort, meaning the ski will be more foregiving without sacrificing performance.

Venturi-Tip Rocker Small

Venturi-Tip Rocker combines a hollowed tip with a rocker shape. The resulting Venturi-Tip Rocker design allows for great float and better tracking, yielding a highly versatile performer in variable conditions.
