The BOA® system finally gets into Rossignol's line. Great support and optimized comfort are crucial on a high performance, all-around boot. Add effortless and precise lacing and you know why we included the BOA® lacing system in this boot. The next step was making sure the toe box was fully secure, so we added a Velcro® power strap for precise fit in the forefoot area. And when you're talking about the Comet, you can add style to performance.
The Comet was the top pick of our riders for freeride or freestyle riding!

Technologies:

AP (Anti Pressure) 3D Tongue - We laminated our tongue in 3 Dimensions with foam for a smoother shin comfort and a better interaction with the 3D ankle strap of our bindings. The flex of the AP tongue has been adapted to match each program of each boot and every rider will be able to find her/his own flex rate, from 0 to 10, to meet her/his riding style.
Asymmetrical EVA Liner - Designed to avoid any pressure (due to stitches) on the instep. Your feet are guaranteed a precise fit and a better blood circulation which will keep them warm all day and prevent bruises. Note: the boots featuring those liners come with an inner ankle brace lacing system that holds your heel down and keep the liner very close to the Upper for great support.
EVA Footbed (EFTB) - Thermoformed EVA last, foot arch and soft lining: comfort, fit and support. Flex 07 Gel Footbed (GFTB) - Throw a gel cushion under the heel of a thermoformed EVA last, add arch support and soft lining and you get ultimate shock absorption on top of pure comfort.

Pyramid Sole - Developed with Jeremy Jones and Jonas Emery, the Pyramid sole features a rubber outsole for grip and flexibility, a PU midsole for light-weight and cushion and showcases an air bag on the heel area for extra cushion and weight loss.
BOA® - The BOA® lacing system allows an effortless and precise tightening of your boot. Push the knob and turn it clockwise to tighten. Pull the knob out and you are free. Repeat this as many times as you want during the day to change the pressure on your foot depending on the terrain, snow conditions or your strain.
